In an era dominated by blockbuster superhero franchises, indie comics and games have emerged as a bastion of creativity and expressive freedom.

Independent works, often referred to as "indie" are publications produced outside the major comic book publishers like Marvel, DC, Manga, Manhwa and many others.

These narratives are crafted by individual creators or small teams who retain full control over their work, from storytelling to artwork.

MIL was developed to offer those creators a user-friendly tool to create and manage portfolios based on the work's characters, in other words: use your characters as a mirror to your comic/game/art.

We'RE BRAND NEW, NOT MUCH OF A LIST YET

Since we're new in town, there's a natural lack of content. Despite that, you are welcome to create your character portfolio and share it.

WHAT MAKES MIL DIFFERENT

Our index is character-based, in other words, the characters are the main prop around here, the rating system is about the characters and not about the series they belong to.

Because the characters are the mirror and soul of any comic / game / art, this site gives them special attention.

MIL gives indie characters a home profile on the web.
